I’m Nike Fink, a communication design student exploring the intersection of typography, identity, and digital culture. Currently based in Berlin, I’m studying Communication Design at HTW Berlin, where I’m working towards a Bachelor of Arts.

My work moves across editorial design, art direction, campaign design, social media, and concept development. I’m drawn to projects where visual language, storytelling, and detail come together — whether that means building an identity, shaping a campaign, or creating a carefully composed editorial piece.

I have a particular love for typography, photography, and print, as well as the small details that can completely change how an image or idea feels. I’m fascinated by composition, unexpected crops, thoughtful colour combinations, and the balance between elements. My approach is conceptual, elegant, and experimental, always looking for ways to create something that feels considered without losing its sense of curiosity.

I care deeply about the process behind a project. I like planning, developing, questioning, and refining ideas until every element has its place and the bigger picture starts to feel right. I’m naturally very detail-oriented and a bit of a perfectionist, but I also believe that good design comes from staying open, exploring, and allowing an idea to evolve along the way.

As an empathetic person, I value understanding the people and stories behind a project just as much as the visual outcome. I enjoy working collaboratively, bringing ideas together, and creating work that feels intentional, thoughtful, and visually engaging.

Outside of design, I’m usually drawn to beautifully curated spaces, images, objects, and anything with an interesting visual detail. I’m constantly collecting inspiration — from a perfectly framed photograph to an unexpected typeface or a colour combination I can’t stop thinking about.
